Just to get you started...

It all began somewhere in the fog of a dhingy low point of a teaching stint that Laura and I had amitiously submitted ourselves to. Some time in November, such was our dismay that rather than jumping on a plane and heading back to blighty we decided to set ourselves the crazy goal of returning home entirely overland at the end of the Thai school year (March). According to this site, we'd be travelling a total of 13,300km, setting ourselves a deadline (cash permitting!) of 7weeks! And so we embarked on our intrepid plans....
